Romanian native, Tatomir, is an artist with strong ties to his homeland and heritage. His work continues an old-world oral/visual history with a neo-paganism that elevates the art to a modern consciousness. There is an evident pride within his craft and a burning desire to share his roots with the open minded, creating a cross-cultural bond between his old and new homes.

After the success of the TRANSILVANICON series that opened December 2010 at HYAENA GALLERY in Burbank. Tatomir Pitariu invites you to experience HELEMENTS on October 15, 2011 at THE CONGREGATION GALLERY - Hollywood.
This time, the artist tries to connect alchemical symbolism to Greek mythology through the medium of art. He does this by rearraging the hierarchy of deities and symbols in a personal manner leading to the creation of GOLD, LIGHT, SUN — APOLLON — the great Olympian god of prophecy and oracles, healing, plague and disease, music, song and poetry, archery, and the protection of the young!)
HELEMENTS — as any other art — can be perceived on different levels, for example, as ELEMENTS from HELL or as Raymond Abelio put it " It Is I who sees you, and who sees myself seeing you and in so doing creates you"
