This painting was the hardest for me to paint. The topic of healing myself was omnipresent in my life as long as this work was in progress. And believe me, healing isn’t easy- it’s like breaking yourself back into proper shape.
Through the help of the spirit of this painting I have successfully scanned my body and mind for all the things breaking me to pieces. For years I have had troubles with my stomach, perhaps this painting gave me the courage to schedule a minor operation for next month to determine if there’s something to be removed that causes my chronic abdominal pains.
