Beard's Opera House - 1897
My great-great-grandfather built an opera house in North Woodstock, NH. Several years ago, I was able to go to the town, but the opera house had burned down. The town historian had the original blueprints, so I got a copy and entered them into a CAD program to create a 3D image on the house. I then brought a wire frame image of the interior into photoshop and "painted" in the lines to create this rendering. This image won the 2009 Photoshop World Guru Award for illustration.
Images created by scripts
With the release of Photoshop CS6, a feature called scripted fill or Deco fill is now available. This fill allows you to write javascript to modify the placement of the fill patterns. I've done a lot of work with this and have created a script that samples a base image and then changes the pattern according to that image.
