Sulamith Wülfing, the great visionary painter and illustrator from Wuppertal, would celebrate her 120th birthday this year. On the occasion of this event, the Nautilus-Studio, a gallery for visionary and surreal art, in the beautiful old 'Luisenviertel', celebrates and honors her fabulous work with a special exhibition titled 'Sulamith Wülfing-the forgotten daughter of the town.‘
The Nautilus studio has been a workspace and gallery in Seattle for 5 years and is now being continued in Wuppertal for nearly two years, managed by the artist Yvette Endrijautzki. - www.nautilusstudio.net
