(Dystopia) explores the urban environment focusing on graffiti street art. All the paintings in this series were shot on location at an old abandoned Geelong Electrical Power station. The factory was a magnet for underground graffiti artists, making ever-changing backdrops for my paintings, and during winter months, the light was perfect for chiaroscuro effect.
