I was shocked when I got the news about a good friend, Vladimir Petrov-Gladky passed away! He was a great artist and wonderful human being - here we were with Ernst Fuchs at his exhibition at the Palais Palffy. I remember both of you with fondness. RIP my friends!

With great sadness we announce that our dear friend and colleague
MARIANO PETIT de MURAT
passed away on December 4th 2015

Mariano Petit de Murat was born in Mexico City in 1961. In 1985, he begins his career as a professional artist. His work is exhibited in various galleries and artistic events like Hall Des Artistes, Center of the image, Museum of the Chopo, Itatti Gallery, Misrachi Gallery, Gallery the Panaderia and the National Center of the Arts among others.

In the year of 2000 he moves to the island of Cozumel where he begins to experiment as a digital artist, exhibiting his work online in the Museum of Computer Arts, Art Majeur, Renderosity, Runtime DNA and many other sites where digital art is promoted. He has become an experienced digital artist, considered refined and creative among his fellow digital artists. He also works as a muralist creating more than 200 murals in public places, hotels and residencies in Cozumel, Playa del Carmen and Cancun and creates Cozumel Murals, a company which provides professional mural and decoration services. Today, as general director and owner of MODA Museum of Digital Arts he has acomplished one of his most desired goals, to promote digital art and to offer talented artists a space for their work to be apreciated in a pleasant atmosphere.

Auf die Fürsprache der Allerseligsten Jungfrau Maria, aller Engel und Heiligen, bitten wir Dich, Himmlischer Vater, schenke unserem Ernst, der jetzt heimgegangen ist, der sich in seinem Lebenswerk zu Dir und Deinem Sohn Jesus Christus bekannt hat, und den wir nun im Gebet und in unseren Gedanken auf seinen Weg begleiten, Dein Erbarmen, Frieden und Erlösung. Das Heilige Herz Jesu, aus dem so viele Gnadenströme fließen, möge sich öffnen für Ernst, Es möge ihm Pforte sein und ihm die ewige Anschauung Deiner Herrlichkeit gewähren!

Through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, all the angels and saints, we beseech Thee, Heavenly Father, give our Ernst, who is now gone home, who has dedicated his life's work to you and your Son Jesus Christ, and whom we accompany now in our prayer and thoughts on his way, Your mercy, peace and salvation. The Sacred Heart of Jesus, from which so much grace flows, may be open to Ernst, that it may be his gate, through which the eternal contemplation of your glory is granted!

It came as a great shock to find out this morning that Ernst Fuchs passed away. I am very sad. Rest In Peace dear Ernst!

We are currently rebuilding our website with a new theme - so temporarily this site is functional, but a construction zone.
Headers, background and certain special new functions will be built in, respectively changed. Additionally, most Slide Shows used to be embedded from our Private Social Network on Ning. Since Ning discontinued Flash some time ago, the space where the embedded slide shows supposed to be is blank!
