Röding , Bezirksstadtrat Andrea Theissen, Museumsleiterin Einführende Worte: Anett Köber Musikalische Umrahmung: Jasmin Hubert (Cello) Die Anatomie steht Kopf, die Logik schlägt Purzelbäume - in der Ausstellung „imagination" wird der Besucher in eine surreale Welt jenseits des Erfahrbaren entführt. Der Weimarer Norbert Gladis, 1956 in Wittenberg geboren, komponiert seine detailtrunkenen, altmeisterlich gearbeiteten Werke aus naturalistischenVersatzstücken, die er in bizarre Konstellationen zueinander setzt und mit denen er Sehgewohnheiten aufbricht. Der sichtlich von den Bilderwelten Dalis und Magrittes ebenso wie von der Leipziger Schule um Tübke oder Zander geprägte Künstler, der seine Traumszenen in imaginären Landschaften oft durch kryptische Titel weiter verschlüsselt, überschreitet die Grenzen der Realität erfreulich stilsicher und erfindungsreich. We are currently rebuilding our website with a new theme - so temporarily this site is functional, but a construction zone.
Headers, background and certain special new functions will be built in, respectively changed. Additionally, most Slide Shows used to be embedded from our Private Social Network on Ning. Since Ning discontinued Flash some time ago, the space where the embedded slide shows supposed to be is blank!
We are working to fix this as well, but with over 500 pages for artists alone, this will take time.
