What is Visionary Art? 

There has been some debate elsewhere about digital art. We are predominantly traditional artists with an emphasis on the preservation of traditional skills and craftsmanship, but the door is not completely closed to innovative use of digital media, however, churning out computer generated images en masse by the push of a button is not what Visionary Art is about.

This site also serves as a 
PORTAL TO OTHER RELATED NETWORKS AND WEBSITES.

Since we are Private, only INVITED MEMBERS* can access this Network. The reason for this (rather than going Public) is to have a place we can call our own, a place where we can share our visions and work.
The ambition is not to grow for the sake of growth.

MEMBERS ARE ENCOURAGED* to suggest to Administration (contact the network creator Otto Rapp) other Artists that share the same visions, to be included in this network.

Artists should submit freely 
CONTENT THAT IS RELEVANT TO VISIONARY/SURREAL/FANTASTIC REALIST ART. 
There are groups on Facebook that had turned off photo submissions from members because of spam entries that had nothing whatsoever to do with what the groups aim was. On this network, Administrators have the means of deleting any content that is deemed not fitting into the overall concept of VISIONARY ART. So go ahead, suggest to us* other like minded artists, share your work, create albums etc - while the network cannot be accessed from outside, you can embed slide shows from this site anywhere. If work (other than your own) is so featured, it is expected that the artists are given credit, preferably also with a link to their respective websites.

*ABOUT INVITATIONS TO JOIN THE NETWORK:
Members in good standing may suggest to Administration friends they can personally vouch for. 
Networks Senior Administrators will then send out a invitation to join our network.
